Good value on that special day. Accomodating staff. Close to Shopping mall, restaurants, freeway.
Too much noise, no continental breakfast or pool. Smelly room.
Chambre correcte - Parking
Too noisy - No sufficient clean - Design not really beautiful
The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom is quite small and the rooms seem as if they haven't been renovated in a while.
I enjoyed the good room rates. The staff were nice when we saw them, rooms were very clean and nice looking.
The mattress was a little hard. One of the window screens was broken.
Great location and fantastic price for Monterey. The hotel is right off the highway to Santa Cruz (HW1), within walking distance from Edgewater Transit Plaza (buses to everywhere in the Monterey Peninsula and San Jose), Starbucks, a supermarket, and restaurants. The hotel is not very luxurious, and is rather old. But if you're looking for a cheap hotel in Monterey where you can sleep comfortably, this is the place.
The price & location was what I was looking for and it appeared to be clean. I would not stay there again.
We stayed above the mgr's residents, their tv was too loud, I heard them snoring, hacking etc... Our view was of a car junk lot from our windows. The room smelled like curry. The beds and pillows were awful and very uncomfortable... I did not sleep at all this night and I had a very long day with my daughter at the CSUMB which made for a longer day. There were transients staying in the hotel which we, as females, didn't feel safe.
This hotel is very conveniently located close to the coast.
Parking is very minimal and tight. You have to park along the street curb if the parking is full.
Ideally between both Monterey and the Castroville Artichoke festival. Staff was courteous and friendly. Room and bathroom very clean!!
Parking was a bit of trouble one space was for handicapped and we couldn't use it. All the marked spaces were taken by the time we returned Saturday night at 10:00 PM. Not a major problem.
I left things including jewlrey in the room. when I sent a prepaid UPS box everything I left was there. The staff makes a great effort. I compliment them.
Location...but it is what it is for the price...
I was able to check in early and go directly to my conference coming back later for the actual stay even though my roommate got sick and couldn't make it
A wee bit hard to get to if coming from in town
It was very clean and a good value for the money. Check-in and check-out went smoothly and our room was comfortable. Wi-Fi was available without a problem.
not much to be honest .. the room was small .. the fridge noisy .. the walls thin enough for me to hear what the couple in the next room were up to .. I found a long black hair in my bed .. and one on the floor of the bathroom .. what little hair I have is silver and short. This was over priced for what it was I also felt duped by the claim that there was only one bedroom left .. it didn't appear full at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.
I travel alot around the country and this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There was a prostatute hanging around the vending machines. Nasty hotel.
this one was located right off the freeway
the room was small with no place for the luggage, we could hear our neighbors and people outside, the room we had smelled bad.. the bed was lopsided
